Tapsi Aims for 4 Million New Users and 47 million dollar in Revenue through TV Advertising
According to Iran digital economy annotation, Tapsi, in a notice published on Codal, stated its goals of attracting 4 million new users and generating 47 million dollar in revenue through its participation in the production of a television program.
About two weeks ago, Tapsi announced a 35.5 million dollar contract for the production of an entertainment program on Nasim Network. The company has now clarified the objectives of this contract.
Tapsi’s goals
“Brand awareness” and “user acquisition” are the two main goals Tapsi is pursuing. The company hopes to increase brand recognition in cities where its market share is lower through 100 episodes of the program.
Tapsi has predicted that the broadcast of this program will help attract 4 million new users, with an average of 40,000 new users installing the Tapsi app each night. Based on the company’s performance data, this could result in an estimated revenue of 47 million dollar in the years 2024 and 2025.
Tapsi believes that disclosing this contract months before the program’s broadcast would have allowed its competitor, Snapp, to counteract the company’s growth plans. They considered early disclosure of the contract to be more beneficial to the competitor rather than to the shareholders. This issue led to the Tehran Stock Exchange halting Tapsi’s trading symbol for a few days, preventing the trading of its shares.
