Asgari noted that reports indicate significant developments in the system in 2024. In addition to transactions from executive bodies and the public sector, electronic auctions for the judiciary’s execution orders and retail auctions by the Organization for Collecting and Selling Seized Assets were also conducted entirely electronically.
He also added: “Since its launch until the end of 2024, approximately 24,000 devices and governmental or public institutions, as well as about 569,000 private sector entities, including suppliers, bidders, and auctioneers, have registered on the system. Additionally, around two million transactions have been recorded on the platform.”
Arash Asgari discussed the performance of different provinces, stating: “According to the evaluations of provincial performance of executive agencies over the past year, some provinces have achieved significant growth compared to previous years and have captured a larger share of the total transactions conducted on the platform. He noted that Gilan, East Azerbaijan, Kermanshah, Khuzestan, and Razavi Khorasan provinces have been leaders in the registration of executive agencies. Asgari also identified Tehran, Khuzestan, Isfahan, Razavi Khorasan, and Fars as the leading provinces in the registration of private sector entities.”
The Director of the Government Electronic Procurement System concluded by noting that in terms of the ratio of the monetary volume of transactions in each province to the total transactions, Tehran, Khuzestan, Bushehr, Razavi Khorasan, and Isfahan provinces are also leading.
