The memorandum of understanding for the development of the Novin and Behin Farda technologies from the Ayandeh bank group in order to develop the real service of the technology card was concluded on the second day of Inotex.
According to Iran digital economy annotation, the Fund for the Development of Novin and Behin Farda Technologies; The technology arm of Ayandeh Bank signed a memorandum of cooperation on the second day of Inotex 2024 with the aim of creating financial services for employees of parks and innovation fields across the country.
The Fund for the Development of Novin Technologies in Inotex launched the Technology Card last year. In its first phase, this Neobank brought financial services such as facilities, investment, crowdfunding, financial brokerage, payment of park fees and insurance services to companies to the implementation stage and with the memorandum of understanding with Behin Farda from the Ayandeh Bank group, in Inotex 2024, it has entered the phase of providing services to natural persons working in technology parks across the country and other activists in the field of innovation. These services will include the provision of real personnel facilities, installment purchase of goods (topland), property and personal insurance, crowdfunding and other microfinance services.
In this ceremony, Bahman Eskandari; CEO of Ayandeh Bank, Mehdi Safarinia; President of Pardis Technology Park, Seyyed Ruhollah Miramini; CEO of Novin Technologies Development Fund, Mohammad Ali Akbarzadeh; CEO of Behin Farda, Masoud Vakilinia; The CEO of Farda Communications and a group of managers and vice-presidents of the two institutions were present. Explanations were presented about the technology card and the development phases of the country’s first Neobank in the field of innovation.
Exporting to 40 countries from Pardis Technology Park
At the beginning of the ceremony, Mehdi Safarinia the head of the Pardis technology park ,while introducing the park and its growth path in this innovation area said: Currently, Pardis Technology Park is the base for the activities of 450 technological and knowledge-based companies and more than 8 thousand people with human capital. Also, more than 2200 technological and innovative products and services are provided by the companies of this park.
Referring to the investment of almost 6 billion dollors by the private sector in this innovation area, he pointed out: Meeting the needs of the domestic markets as well as exporting products is always one of the most important concerns in the field of innovation, and in the meantime, Pardis Technology Park has been able to pave its export path by exporting more than 50 innovative products to 40 countries. This importance has resulted in the saving of 600 million Euros in the last year alone.
Ayandeh Bank participates in the financing of innovation
Bahman Eskandari, CEO of Ayandeh Bank referring to his 20 years of experience in the bank’s credit field said: One of my concerns during the first years of working in the bank has always been the financing of the innovation field despite the risks in this field. Of course, there was no Innovation and Prosperity Fund at that time, and later, with the creation of this fund and the memorandums created with banks, positive movements took place.
He attributed the attention to knowledge-based and technological companies to the encouragement of elites and economic activists and saving foreign exchange and noted: Innovation and Prosperity Fund and Research and Technology Funds have been able to smooth the path of bank support for innovative companies by solving the concerns of banks. Ayandeh Bank is also very willing to participate in this financing and we can provide the capacities of this bank and its subsidiaries for the growth and development of this field.
The development of technology card reached the real phase
Mohammad Kolahi; The Vice President of Credit and Commercialization of the Novin Technologies Development Fund, while presenting a report on the progress of Technology card’s development until today, said: Technology card was unveiled as the first Neobank in the field of technology with the aim of providing services to companies and employees of companies in the field of technology throughout the country at Inotex last year under the auspices of the Novin Technologies Development Fund and the support of Pardis Technology Park. After that, due to the change of the regulator’s view on Neobanks, while adapting to the new conditions, it has continued its development program.
Explaining the fund’s financial tools in providing services to the technology sector in the 17 years of this institution’s activity in the country’s innovation field, he added: The fund has been able to be the leader in financing innovation by creating specialized institutions around itself and provide various financial services and memorandums of understanding with 13 banks and 6 capital market institutions of the country. It also cooperates with 1,470 government and private employers. It has provided more than 5,000 guarantees and 13,000 facilities, totaling more than 17,000 financial services to more than 3,500 innovation companies.
