Khaleghian, the secretary of the 25th Iran Health Exhibition, announced that this exhibition will be held from May 19th to May 22nd, 2024, at the Tehran International Exhibition Center
According to Iran digital economy annotation, the first press conference of the 2024 International Iran Health Exhibition, related to the fields of medical equipment, dentistry, pharmaceuticals, and laboratory, was held (February 28, 2023) at the Pardis Technology Park.
Amin Reza Khaleghian, the secretary of the 1403 Iran Health Exhibition, stated on the sidelines of this session that final registration for the exhibition is possible from February 28, 2023, and interested parties can visit the website https://Iranhealth2024.ir/ for registration.
Safariniya, the head of Pardis Technology Park and the head of the policy-making council of the Iran Health Exhibition, admitted in this session:
‘The main focus of Pardis Technology Park is the progress of the country in the fields of science and technology. One of the significant capacities of the country, possessing both substantial knowledge and a good market share domestically and internationally, is the healthcare sector. The health sector has considerable potential in the academic, knowledge-based companies, and industrial sectors of the country and can transform knowledge into wealth.’
Safariniya continued: ‘The main goal is to increase the market share of this sector in the country and globally through knowledge-based companies. In this regard, there is undoubtedly a need for technology exchanges that can be addressed through global technology collaborations.’
He continued: ‘One of the primary investments of Pardis Technology Park is in the healthcare sector, including pharmaceuticals and medical equipment. Since the early 90s, we obtained the license for Pardis Health Technology Park from the Ministry of Health, and we are one of the first healthcare parks in the country. We have nearly 100 technology and knowledge-based companies in the healthcare sector at Pardis Technology Park, some of which have foreign shareholders.’
A significant hub has been established in the field of health at this park, serving as a gathering place for knowledge-based companies. Through negotiations with the Ministries of Industry, Mining, and Health, the country’s largest health event (Iran Health) has been targeted.
Considering the capacities of the park, a plan has been devised to allocate a share for the development of this activity, involving active companies, universities, and the industrial sector. Therefore, coordination with private sector stakeholders took place, and a policy-making session was held with the participation of representatives from the Ministries of Health, Industry, Mining, the Scientific and Technological Deputy of Pardis, and associations to ensure that the exhibition is conducted on a larger scale.
The head of Pardis Technology Park also stated: ‘The organization of the exhibition pursues various objectives, including the advancement of technology in this sector through exhibition programs, side events, and the scientific sections of the country. This allows us to better articulate and reflect the perspectives of healthcare industry stakeholders in the country. On the other hand, internal and international networking and sharing experiences in this field are better facilitated.’
In conclusion, this official emphasized: ‘The maximum participation of technology companies in the healthcare exhibition aims to place the country’s market under the influence of domestic products. In sectors where we have both imports and domestic production, the share of imports will decrease. Additionally, the presence of foreign companies helps Iranian companies elevate the standards of their products and become familiar with the market needs of new products. In this way, during the 25th Iran Health Exhibition, we will leverage the capacities of both the public and private sectors to the fullest extent.’
Khaleghian, the secretary of the 25th Iran Health Exhibition, announced that the exhibition has received approval from the Iran Trade Development Organization and will be held from the 19th of May to the 21th of May, 2024, at the Tehran International Exhibition Center.
The exhibition secretary added: ‘The product categories present at this exhibition include medical, dental, laboratory equipment, and pharmaceuticals. Related industries are also welcome to participate in this exhibition.
