Ofood online ordering platform, which started its operation in Mashhad in December last year, has now expanded its scope to Shiraz.
According to Iran digital economy annotation, Ofood, as the online ordering arm of Golrang food, had stated at the time of starting its activity that it would probably start its activity in Tehran in a year. After a month of operation in Shiraz, this platform announced that it has 20% of the daily online food ordering market in Mashhad.
Ofood services include restaurants, cafes, bakeries, protein bars, confectionery, fruit and juice, and ice cream, and the delivery fee is considered free for users.
Currently, three online food ordering platforms, namely Snappfood, Ofood and Zoodex, are operating in Shiraz. With a market share of 85%, Snapحfood is considered the largest online food ordering service in Iran, it should be seen over time to what extent platforms such as Ofood and Zoodex can gain a share of the 17% online food market.
It should be mentioned that Alopeyk has resumed its activities in Shiraz after being bought by Golrang Industrial Group.
