Cybersecurity and Agricultural Innovation Take Center Stage
According to IDEA, Two Iranian knowledge-based companies have made it to the semi-finals of GITEX 2023’s “Supernova” competition, creating opportunities for international expansion and investor attraction. Supernova is taking place from October 24 to 28 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, featuring various categories, with an $8,000 prize awarded to each winning team. The standout startup with the most remarkable achievement will be crowned the ultimate champion and receive a $100,000 Supernova prize.
Cybersecurity Pioneers
One of these companies specializes in cutting-edge cybersecurity. With the rise of user behavior-based cyberattacks, this company employs artificial intelligence and practical challenges to protect online businesses. By distinguishing real users from malicious bots and destructive requests, it significantly reduces the risk of financial and reputational damage.
Revolutionizing Grafting
Another Iranian company wowed the exhibition with two innovative devices. The first uses image processing to automate the grafting process, enhancing precision and reducing the risk of graft failure. The second, a “Grafting Welder” utilizing plasma technology, ensures rapid and reliable grafting, while simultaneously eliminating pests and microbes.
These innovations have the potential to transform grafting processes, boosting agricultural productivity and minimizing crop losses. As they advance in Supernova, these Iranian startups position themselves for global recognition and investment opportunities.
