According to Iran digital economy annotation, according to Irancell Public Relations, following a tripartite agreement on the topic of “developing the innovation ecosystem and localization of strategic infrastructures and crossroads in the field of communications and industrial intelligence”, between the Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, the Innovation and Prosperity Fund and the first and largest operator Digital Iran In 2023, Irancell Labs, as the research and development arm of Irancell, supports research projects that meet the needs of Iran’s first and largest digital operator, with the aim of strengthening the connection between industry and universities and benefiting from the capacity of professors of top universities.
To participate in this call, professors and universities can submit their research projects in the fields related to reconfigurable intelligence surfaces (RIS), satellite-based Internet of Things (IOT), beam shaping using plasma materials, systems Cell-free massive MIMO, wireless location (Wireless Location Tracking), V2X telecommunication, ORAN-based network (NFV, SDN,…) and… by 15 May 2024, send via email to ilabs@mtnirancell.ir.
After the deadline for registration and declaration of readiness by professors and universities, the initial stages of evaluation are carried out by Irancell and the selected projects are invited to a meeting with the presence of the technical team and the research and development unit of Irancell. In the final stage, a production contract or a research agreement is concluded in the form of support projects and granting facilities in cooperation with the Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy and Irancell.
