According to the IDEA, Eisa Zarepour, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, on the sidelines of the Electronic Banking Conference, told reporters about the country’s internet disruption on Saturday, November 27th: There was a technical problem in the country’s infrastructure network, and for about half an hour, maybe 25% of the country’s network capacity It had a problem and created problems for some compatriots, which the infrastructure company also announced and apologized for. The problem was solved immediately.
He also said about the news that this problem was caused by a cyber attack: There are speculations that it was a cyber attack. There was no attack at all and it was a technical problem that I instructed my friends to arrange so that we do not witness such incidents.
Referring to the optical fiber project, he emphasized that with the completion of this project, a different user experience will be created compared to the past and high-speed and high-quality infrastructure will be provided to users.
National portal of electronic services
Zarepour said about the opportunity of the executive bodies to provide their services electronically on the national service portal, which ends on November 30th: According to paragraph “C” of note 7 of the current year’s budget law, all the bodies are required to connect to the window of the electronic government service unit, which Last year’s task was to provide all their services electronically and by the end of this year to provide 20% of the services in an intelligent manner.
He added: Until now, on average, nearly 55% of services are provided electronically. Some devices provide 100% service electronically and others are very low. Every Tuesday, we hold supervisory meetings in this field, where we call the highest officials of various devices one by one to check the status of the devices.
The Minister of Communications also said about dealing with the devices that have not fulfilled this legal duty: naturally, the provision of services will not reach 100% until tomorrow and next week, and the regulatory bodies will definitely follow up on this matter, but we request the executive bodies to do this duty as soon as possible.
Additional insurance paperwork
The Minister of Communications also said about the electronicization of the work process of supplementary insurance: We were promised by friends for two months, and one month has already passed. I hope that in this opportunity to make 20% of government services smart, which is by January this year, the insurance companies will fulfill their promise.

Privacy Bill
Regarding the privacy bill, the Minister of Communications stated: Based on the recently approved clause in the 7th Development Plan Law, we are required to prepare the privacy bill and send it to the parliament within 6 months after this law comes into force. This bill is ready now. The National Center for Cyberspace had some considerations that we are applying. Of course, it may take a month or two to review it in the government, but the main work has been done.
