Snapp Exempts Female Head-of-Household Drivers from Commission Fees
In the “Your Life Spins in Your Hands” program, Snapp exempts all female head-of-household drivers from paying commission fees. The program runs from August 27, 2024, to March 19, 2025.
According to Snapp’s Public Relations, both current female head-of-household drivers in the fleet and new applicants who join during the program period will benefit from this exemption until the end of the year. The goal of this initiative is to facilitate income generation for this group of active women in the community.
Active female head-of-household drivers in the Snapp fleet can benefit from this program by presenting their identification and household head documentation. Applicants need to submit their documents in person at Snapp offices in provincial capitals. Women head-of-households who are eligible to join the Snapp fleet can also provide their household head documentation after registration and qualification to benefit from the program.
What is the Importance of Commission Fee Exemption?
Exemption from commission fees is one of Snapp’s significant programs to support users with special conditions. Previously, in the current year, drivers with thalassemia were also exempted from commission fees.
According to Snapp’s 2023 performance report, this app has 5,919,295 male driver users and 233,214 female driver users.
From the early years of Snapp’s operations, supporting individuals with special conditions has been a priority for Snapp’s corporate social responsibility initiatives. Since 2017, the commission exemption program for drivers with disabilities, veterans, martyrs’ families, and the like has been active. Additionally, various driver groups periodically benefit from commission fee exemptions.
In the past year, different commission exemption programs benefited 20,244 driver users. These drivers completed over 20,878,000 trips, with the total value of commission exemptions exceeding $1.92 million (115 billion Tomans).
