The signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between Asan pardakht and BAMA was held on January 29 with the presence of the managers of the two complexes. Based on this cooperation, it is possible for all users to register and review car sales ads on the Asan pardakht platform.
According to Iran digital economy annotation, in order to complete its product portfolio and assess the needs of the used car market, the car buying and selling service has been added to Super application Asan pardakht in cooperation with the Bama platform. This option is now available to all users and the two companies will cooperate in the development of this service.
Bama is not just a new service for super application Asan pardakht
“Arman Farajzadeh”, the chief executive officer of Asan pardakht, said about this cooperation: “Bama is not just a new service for Asan pardakht; We reached this cooperation based on a commercial and strategic partnership model. The potential in the second-hand car buying and selling market, the impressive position of the Bama brand as a trusted authority in the car market, the completion of the value chain of the easy payment company, and the capacity of the users of the Super Application app were among our important issues to start this cooperation.
Farajzadeh said about the reasons for cooperation with Bama:
“According to the studies conducted and in line with the Asan Pardakht group’s macro strategies, the automotive sector was considered as one of the sectors with growth potential for investment, and after examining the options, we came to the conclusion that Bama With a significant market share, especially in the category of cars with medium to high prices, a well-known and long-standing brand in this field, as well as new plans for business development, it is the best option to start a strategic cooperation in this field. On the other hand, Bama’s growth and development process and the approach of its management and executive team played an important role in choosing Bama as a strategic partner with a high-capacity market.”
According to Farajzadeh, the strategic cooperation of Asan Pardakht and Bama platform has been seen in the form of an investment understanding that will lead to Asan Pardakht’s shareholding in Bama.
Bama has a long way to go
Amir Ali Shobeiry, CEO and co-founder of BAMA, referring to the number of more than four million transactions per year with an average price of 12,000 dollar in Iran, said:
“This market is very important in terms of finances and its importance in the asset portfolio of families. We in Bama faced a completely traditional market 15 years ago, during these years we were able to make changes in trading habits and processes, but we are still far from world markets. When we look at the services and facilities that are available online to the people of other countries, I must say that we are still at the beginning of the journey, and in this direction, BAMA’s main mission will be to create solutions to facilitate the cycle of car transactions in Iran.”
Shobeiry continued: “Bama, in the years following its establishment, had been operating independently without capital infusion, considering its rapid growth and financial flow. However, starting from last year, and in line with the significant developmental plans we have envisioned for Bama, we decided to pursue strategic collaboration and attract investment.
Among the numerous investment options, Asan Pardakht, as a well-known company with a strong and thoughtful executive team and a large user base, emerged as the best investment choice. Fortunately, we reached a consensus in amicable negotiations. The collaboration between Bama and Asan Pardakht, in addition to introducing capital, will provide Bama with a broader access to Asan Pardakht‘s user community—a community that I hope will extend Bama’s operations to markets with various vehicles and cities that are less accessible to us.
The CEO of Bama also pointed out that the future of cooperation between Bama and Asan Pardakht will lead to the production of products that facilitate the entire process of buying and selling cars, from registering ads and searching in the market to choosing a car and financial and legal affairs of transactions. Because of this, a lot of added value will be created for the audience of the car market.
