The CEO of Raad Charity Institute says that since the outbreak of Corona in 2020, this institute has launched online training and throughout the year, 1,400 people use these trainings
According to the Iran digital economy annotation Anet Minasian, CEO of Raad Charity Educational Complex, said in a meeting about employment challenges for 10 million people with disabilities in Iran.
She said about teaching people with disabilities: We have between 400 and 450 scholars in each three-month semester, which includes face-to-face classes and online classes. We have a distance learning system. Every semester, at least 15% are employed. We have bootcamps that are shorter ways to create employment. Bootcamps are held under the title Karsaz. SEO bootcamp is being held. Since the outbreak of Corona in 2020, online education has been launched. During a year, 1,400 people use these trainings.
She added: We have programming, coding and computer user technology courses. We cooperate with partners and soon we will enter the field of product management.
According to Minasian, 65% of the published statistics about disabled people in Iran are correct. She added: According to statistics, we have 10 million disabled people in Iran, of which 5 million people are physically and physically disabled. But according to the head of the welfare organization, the number of children born with disabilities has become confidential. We have one billion and three million disabled people in the world. According to global statistics, 41% of people with disabilities are less than 15 years old.
Anet Minasian said about the background of Raad Institute: Raad Charity Educational Complex started working 40 years ago with the mission of training and employment of people with disabilities. That time was the period of Iran’s imposed war with Iraq. Since then, lightning training and conditions have changed.
She added: General education includes two categories of theoretical topics, programming, coding and manual skills, including art training, painting, pottery and mobile repair.
Minasian said: In these years, assistance, rehabilitation and psychology, along with training for employment, have always been offered to the disabled.
She added: Easterlin’s paradox is that rich people are happier. But income and increase in wealth does not bring more happiness. We are deeply dependent on others. Life and finding meaning in many ways includes things that are for ourselves, our family, human society today and in the future. The values include integrity, transparency, tolerance, commitment and altruism.
