According to the IDEA, electronic government as one of the most important platforms for providing government services to the people, transparency of processes and efficient monitoring can seriously eradicate corruption and facilitate the sustainable development of society. This issue has been one of the main topics that the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has paid attention to following up and implementing since the first days of the 13th government.
In fact, carrying a lot of originals and copies of identification and identity documents such as birth certificate, national card, articles of association, announcement of changes of companies and administrative power of attorney is always one of the main problems of doing administrative work. For this reason, in the past years, the establishment of a single window in various fields is one of the topics that have been the focus of government officials.
Today, the national window of smart government services has made people unnecessary of paper exchanges by providing hundreds of services, and domestic platforms are taking on a more colorful role in the country’s digital economy every day.
Therefore, due to the importance of this issue, last week with the approval of the parliament, the ministries were obliged to provide electronic services. In fact, government ministries and institutions were obliged to provide at least 20% of their electronic services annually to all legal entities and natural persons over 18 years of age through the “National Window of Smart Government Services” in a smart way without visiting in person and involving human agents or obtaining documents. and submit documents manually.
This issue was recently mentioned by Eisa Zarepour, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, in a meeting with the President’s assistant in the pursuit of social rights and freedoms. He said about the actions of the Ministry of Communications to make government services smarter: Today, more than 27 million people have registered in the national window of smart government services and benefit from more than 3,000 government services provided through this window.
Zarepour also emphasized in this meeting that in the form of the articles of the Seventh Development Plan, it was approved in the Islamic Council that until the end of the Seventh Development Plan, 100% of government services should be provided in an intelligent manner, that is, without visiting in person, without sending documents and without human intervention and through the window. National smart government services should be provided to the dear people, with the realization of which people can feel the sweet taste of technology.
It should be noted that in the 26th meeting of the Executive Council of Information Technology, he discussed the latest state of implementation of the law of the country’s executive bodies to the national window of smart services, referring to the fact that 96% of the devices have joined this portal, the authentication of 26 million citizens over the age of 18, 519 million visits to the portal, a huge growth of 10 billion transactions on the platform of the national window of smart government services, as well as the provision of device, trade and household licenses on this electronic platform. This portal has become a place of reference for people and untangling their affairs.
