The Minister of Communications announced the allocation of 5 GB of internet as a gift on the occasion of Nowruz Eid.
According to Iran digital economy annotation, Issa Zarepour, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, told reporters on the sidelines of the government delegation meeting: On the occasion of Nowruz Eid and the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, a free package of 5 GB equivalent to 12 GB of domestic traffic will be activated for all people. People who are interested can go to my.gov.ir and receive the package by entering one of their phone numbers. The opportunity to use the package will be until Eid-ul-Fitr.
He explained about next year’s space programs: the launches that were carried out in these two years are equivalent to the last 3 governments, that is, more than the last 10 years. Next year, several launches are planned, and God willing, we will launch a series of satellites belonging to the Islamic Republic of Iran that are capable of building systems.
Regarding the operation of the new space base in Chabahar, Zarepour also said: the country’s largest space base is also under construction, and God willing, its first phase will be operational next year so that we can make the first launch from there. This last launch, which was carried out through Russia, was because our current bases do not have such a possibility. God willing, we will also launch from our new space base to Khorsheedahang orbit.
He continued: The plan to reach the geo layer is 5 years and it is defined in the horizon of 1407, but our effort is to carry out research launches until the end of the government.
