The government spokesperson announced the allocation of 10 thousand billion tomans to the Innovation and Prosperity Fund in order to support knowledge-based companies. According to the IDEA, Ali Bahadori Jahromi said on the sidelines of the meeting of the government board regarding the government’s support for knowledge-based companies: the board of ministers approved that the support was aimed at strengthening knowledge-based companies as much as possible and commercializing various innovations.
The government spokesperson said about the allocation of 10 thousand billion tomans to the Innovation and Prosperity Fund and added: “The Cabinet agreed that the equivalent of 10 thousand billion tomans will be added to the resources of the Innovation and Prosperity Fund.”
Now, according to the government spokesperson, the fund’s capital of 3 billion tomans is supposed to increase to 10 billion tomans. Although this capital of three thousand billion tomans was not without margins.
Earlier, in the statute of this fund in 2011 , it was stated that the amount of three thousand billion tomans as the initial capital should be provided and paid within a maximum of three years.
Siavash malekifar stated: “The injection of this money started in 2014 and continued until 2017 . “The fund owes its initial capital to the government.”
In addition to this statute, according to him, 2600 billion Tomans were finally paid, the law also states that the government is obliged to allocate at least half of its public budget to this fund from the third year on wards.
